Maintenance Assistant / Tech I/II

Anderson Regional Joint Water System is searching for a Maintenance Assistant / Tech I/II.

Duties include but are not limited to, maintenance and troubleshooting of mechanical drives, pumps and pipe work at a water treatment plant and pump stations, maintenance of large transmission mains, valves, large water meters and preventive maintenance.

Desired skills include ability to read construction blueprints/O&M manuals, understanding of mechanical drives, pumps, plumbing, pipe fitting, basic electrical concepts, knowledge of welding, machine shop, carpentry, water line locating, operation of backhoes, tractors and forklifts. Water Distribution Certification and CDL is a plus.

Minimum requirements: HS Diploma or Equivalent and clean driving record.

Salary Range: Maint Asst $30,000-$45,400; Tech I $39,900-$59,400; Tech II $47,000-$74,500.
