Arkansas PBS is seeking a Senior Public Affairs/News Producer & Host, who embraces our high standards of compelling and creative storytelling and content innovation across multiple platforms. We are seeking someone who will write captivating content, shoot compelling video, and has the editing skills to tell great stories. The Senior News Producer & Host will be responsible for producing and when possible hosting talk shows, podcasts, daily current affairs segments, blogs, and other social media avenues. They will also be responsible for shooting and using video, audio, editing skills, graphics, and scriptwriting to deliver compelling and informative digital media segments that will be used on multimedia platforms, such as on-air, streaming, podcasts, and other social media avenues. This position will work closely with civic leaders and other individuals to keep abreast of noteworthy events or issues to keep Arkansans informed and involved.

Requirements for the Senior Public Affairs/News Producer includes a degree in journalism, communication or other related fields, and three years of experience with photojournalism, editing, and content management systems, including one year of hosting experience.
