Be a part of the change! Join our team for this exciting opportunity to assist individuals in crisis who need behavioral healthcare assistance. Blue Ridge Behavioral Healthcare has a stable history of over 50 years supporting the recovery of people with mental health disorders, substance use, and developmental disabilities. This position will help supervise and grow a small team of mobile crisis therapists who will provide co-response to mental health related calls and provide follow-up care.  We have partnered with George Mason University and local police departments from Roanoke City, Roanoke County, Salem and Vinton for this grant funded position needed to research the outcomes of mobile crisis services.  This position will provide crisis intervention, crisis stabilization, and care coordination in the community. This position will initially supervise a part-time therapist and a pool of on-call therapists as part of this project. 

The schedule for this full time position is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.


1.  Active, unrestricted license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) or Licensed Clinical Social worker (LCSW)

2.  Supervisory experience is a plus!

  1. Safe Driving Record: This position requires transporting clients or driving an agency vehicle. Candidates must have a valid Virginia driver's license with a safe driving record (no more than two moving violations in the last three years AND no criminal violations in the last five years).
