Logistics Manager. Supervise activities of logistics staff. Collab w/ dept heads to coord warehouse activities. Utilize perf measurement systs, such as CMMS, to monitor invt levels. Review demand forecasts to assess effectiveness of logistics oprns & identify areas for improvement. Ensure compliance w/ local, state, & fed regs relating to transportation, warehousing, & distrib'n of medical dvcs. Provide necess training to employees & oversee manpower planning & employment. Ensure adherence to co standards concerning receipt of goods, packaging, storage, & distrib'n. Dvlp oprn'l plans for multiple reg'l areas of resp. Anlyz info to identify new opps for cost reduction & innovation.
