Environmental Services Representative (Night Shift)
We are looking for a Environmental Services Representative with Environmental Services at St. Jude Medical Center.
Location: Fullerton, California
Work Schedule: Part Time - 48 Biweekly Hours
Shift: 8 Hour Night Shift

Job Summary:
Under direct supervision of Environmental Services Supervisor, cleans and services building Areas according to established schedules, policies and procedures. Performs a variety of Environmental services duties to maintain the hospital in a sanitary, orderly and attractive condition.
Essential Functions:
- Maintains assigned areas free of dust, soil and debris by cleaning furniture, fixtures, equipment, sinks, showers, toilets, floors and walls taking into consideration safety needs of patients, family, and staff.
- Schedules and completes project work such as wall washing, cleaning of windows, doors lights, vents, floor/carpet work and defrosting refrigerators, to maintain consistent cleanliness levels.
- Collects, transports and disposes of soiled linen and various types of waste, cleans collection containers and carts.
- Selects appropriate cleaning supplies and materials, prepares and uses solutions according to procedures.
- Maintains consistent appearance of floors by vacuuming, shampooing carpets, sweeping, mopping and buffing hard floors.
- Operates various types of cleaning equipment, both mechanical and electrical.
- Maintains Environmental Services closets, carts and equipment clean and orderly.
Skills:
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to use various types of cleaning equipment (i.e., mop, vacuum, buffer, high duster, extractor, scrubber).
- Ability to set priorities, adapt to changing conditions and frequent interruptions.
- Telephone skills.
Preferred Position Qualifications:
Experience:
- Housekeeping/Janitorial type experience.
- Job related experience in hospital or health care environment.
